You want to live your life from a place of connection and self awareness, to have a life that is affirming and joyful, but you may often feel anxious, have some physical symptoms, or feel misunderstood (especially in your most intimate relationships). Perhaps you want to practice more self-care around eating more mindfully, exercise, etc., but feel stuck and unable to sustain your initial motivation for change. You resolve to do things differently, have explored other forms of therapy, read self help books, have taken workshops, but there's still something eluding you.
If this is what you're struggling with, you're not alone. Many people continue to repeat patterns that are clearly not contributing to feeling whole, complete, competent and happy.
There is nothing pathological about what's happening to you, rather it's just your body doing its job to protect and deflect. Over time our bodies adapt to these holding patterns and the result is illness, chronic pain, headaches, etc. When we're able to release stored emotions, they no longer have to the power to constrict and shut down our aliveness. This is where therapy could help.
In a gentle, supportive and healing environment, we explore what brings you to therapy and chart a course that is uniquely yours.
The difference between the therapy that we practice and traditional talk therapy is that in addition to talk therapy we use both breath work and the body to access the wisdom that lies within. Our bodies hold tremendous wisdom and information, and are also a repository for all that has happened to us. Years of holding back tears, emotion, intolerable feelings, sadness, anger, grief and even joy have resulted in constriction and holding patterns in our bodies. The breath is often the first place we go for you to begin slowly return to your natural state of being: One that is filled with wonder, elation and ample room to express all of your emotions.
We also look at patterns and behaviors that were formed in childhood to see what is no longer serving us and how to create and sustain lasting change. We all want to know why we think / feel / do things, and this work provides a way to discover that clearly and quickly.
Therapy can help us process interruptions to our wellbeing and, most importantly, provide us with the stepping stone from simply initiating change to creating and living it.

Rates & Insurance
Rates are available upon contact and based on a 50 minute session, and reduced fee services are available on a limited basis – please call us to inquire. Although we do not accept insurance, we're happy to supply you with an invoice for you to submit to your insurance company.
